Position: Mandarin Legal Counsel – Philippines Industry: Shared Services Location: BGC, Taguig City Schedule: Dayshift Schedule Salary: Highly Negotiable Work setup: On-Site Requirements: Open to Filipino and Filipino-Chinese proficient in Mandarin, English, and Filipino Bachelor's Degree in Law Qualified Lawyer (Philippines) with at least 5 years of private practice or in-house experience Ability to work closely with a small, potentially geographically diverse team Self-organized, resourceful, good judgment, result-oriented, pragmatic Responsibilities: Support the SEA legal team, mainly for the Philippines, and assist with Indonesia and data protection matters for SEA countries Develop legal standards and templates, respond to tenders, draft and review contracts, and assist in approval processes Implement compliance programs including Responsible Business Conduct and data protection in the Philippines and Indonesia Provide legal advisory to internal clients, support incident response, and manage external law firms for restructuring, investments, divestments, and litigation Perform other duties as directed by the APAC
