Qualified Lawyer (in the Philippines) with good private practice and/or in-house experience of at least 5 years. Ability to work closely and seamlessly with a small team, which may be geographically diverse. Self-organized, resourceful, good judgment, result-oriented, pragmatic to deliver value-add services for the organization

Ability to work in a multicultural, multi-jurisdictional environment

Essential to have high proficiency in English. Proficiency in other Asian languages would be a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:Be an active contributor to the Southeast Asia ("SEA") legal team by providing legal support mainly for the Philippines and, as required, for Indonesia and data protection work for certain SEA countries.

Contract Review: Develop legal standards and templates as required by the business; respond to tenders; draft, review, and negotiate contracts and contract variations; prepare precedents; assist in contract approval process. Compliance: Implement a Group compliance program in the Philippines and, if required, Indonesia, including Responsible Business Conduct ("RBC") and personal data protection. Legal Advisory: Provide legal advisory to internal clients and business units on legal matters and issues that may arise from time to time; Support legal issues related to incident response and management.

Provide legal support/manage and work with external law firms on restructuring, investment,t and divestment in the Philippines and Indonesia, if any. Manage and work with external law firms on litigation matters, claims, and emerging dispute(s), including without limitation labor disputes. Expertise in Philippine labor law would be a plus.
