Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all accounting tasks for the Philippines entity, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax authority requirements, including timely and accurate filing of statutory returns.
  • Prepare, review, and manage profit and loss (P&L) statements and financial reporting for the Philippines.
  • Support financial processes for the Hong Kong entity, including cross-border transactions, invoicing, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and coordinate intercompany transactions across multiple Asia-Pacific entities (Philippines, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand).
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls, ensuring transparency and compliance with local and regional standards.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning for the Philippines, with input into regional financial strategies.
  • Assist with annual audits, external reporting, and group consolidation requirements.
  • Support optimization of financial systems and processes for scalability and efficiency across multiple entities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong expertise in Philippine accounting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of Hong Kong accounting and tax regulations; exposure to Southeast Asia operations (Vietnam, Thailand) is an advantage.
  • Experience in multi-entity or regional financial management, including intercompany transactions.
