Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Scrum Master Certified (SMC) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, guiding teams in the successful adoption and implementation of Scrum practices.
  • At least 4 years of experience in project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Scrum framework, Agile principles, and Lean methodologies.
  • Strong facilitation and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and consensus-building.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret Agile metrics and data.
  • Adaptability and a growth mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Adept in JIRA.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools and software is a plus.
  • Must be amenable to a hybrid work set-up, office is in Makati City

Job Description:

  • Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, guiding them in implementing and adhering to Scrum principles and practices.
  • Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring their effectiveness and adherence to timeboxes.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile values, principles, and practices, promoting self-organization and cross-functionality.
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent work environment, encouraging effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Identify and remove any impediments or roadblocks that hinder the team's progress, working closely with team members and stakeholders to find solutions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, facilitating retrospectives, and supporting the team in implementing changes to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Act as a servant leader, supporting the team's needs, providing guidance, and promoting their autonomy and accountability.
  • Monitor and analyze relevant Agile metrics, such as sprint burndown charts, velocity, and team performance, to gain insights and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, trends, and emerging Agile methodologies, applying this knowledge to enhance the team's performance.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment and smooth coordination across teams, when applicable.
