The 
Scrum Master
 organizes and guides teams through the delivery of key projects for IT segment. S/He works directly in a squad to advise and oversee performance against agile values, practices and processes. Working with the IT and Business owners for important products and services, S/He supports the work of the squad by maintaining task backlogs and by facilitating Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. The Scrum Master also monitors teams' performance through the squad's dashboard and helps to identify continuous improvement opportunities to help the team work better and smarter.

  • Researches and analyzes improvement opportunities; Conducts analysis, prepares recommendations, and facilitates efficiency enhancements.
  • Develops business requirement documents and specifications as part of a team of System Analysts.
  • Works as directed by management team to research and document business issues involving workflow procedures and processes.
  • Analyzes data and works with management to develop creative solutions; Breaks down, decomposes and describes business needs into stories supporting an iterative and incremental delivery model.
  • Communicates and negotiates effectively with the business to clarify needs vs. wants/likes in order to balance business direction/requirements with cost of development as well as risks .
  • Supports a positive and collaborative digital delivery culture with a philosophy of

continuous improvement, development, innovation and excellence, while remaining

in compliance with the bank's policies and procedures and upholding the highest

standards of professional conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development or IT project management is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related Required

  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Six Sigma, PMP or PRINCE2 Project management certification
  • Business Analysis Professional certification like CBAP
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
  • Ability to facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)
  • Good understanding of project management and experience in

managing cross-functional teams

  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.)
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools
  • Knowledge of banking systems and regulations
