JOB DESCRIPTION

● Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of corporate contracts, including joint ventures, service agreements, and commercial contracts relevant to the oil and gas sector.

● Support corporate governance activities such as preparing board and shareholder meeting minutes, resolutions, and corporate filings.

● Conduct legal research on corporate law, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific legislation to provide timely advice.

● Assist in ensuring compliance with corporate policies, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.

● Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide legal guidance on business transactions and projects.

● Help monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the oil and gas industry and communicate relevant updates.

● Support dispute resolution and liaise with external counsel when necessary.

● Maintain organized and up-to-date legal documentation and records.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

● Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

● Admission to the bar and in good standing.

● 0-2 years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to corporate law or the oil and gas industry.

● Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills.

● Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

● Knowledge of corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
