Job Description

As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the Preconstruction and Estimating team with document control, basic quantity take-offs, and interpreting construction drawings. This role is your gateway to mastering core QS principles while contributing to accurate and timely deliverables.

Job Overview

Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Night shift, Tuesday-Saturday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM PHT

Work setup: Onsite (Hub 9 Skyline, Clark, Pampanga): 3 months - will transition to hybrid but subject for evaluation (2 or 3 days in the office weekly)

The Qualifications We Seek

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in estimating, preconstruction, or related construction roles
  • Exposure to OST, Bluebeam, Box, or Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage

Technical

  • Basic proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Bluebeam, Box, SharePoint, and Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with CSI divisions and estimating templates is a plus
  • Willingness to learn document control and QTO processes

Business and Management

  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines

  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal

Your Daily Tasks

  • Manage and update document logs; perform OCR, bookmarking, and overlays with change narratives
  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs under supervision across standard trades and assigned specialties
  • Communicate with U.S. Estimators and Assistant Team Leads to resolve discrepancies
  • Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bulletins for estimating purposes
  • Apply standard processes to QTO outputs
  • Support clients with timely and accurate deliverables
  • Use OST, Bluebeam, Box, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Excel for take-offs, markups, and data management
