We're looking for a highly skilled Level 3 Technician to be the backbone of our escalation support and lead the charge on complex issues and projects.

Job Summary

As a Level 3 Technician, you'll act as the highest technical escalation point for our support team. You'll handle complex issues that require deep technical troubleshooting and oversee deployments, migrations, and advanced infrastructure work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and has a strong desire to mentor others and solve real business problems through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the final escalation point for high-level technical issues across client environments.
  • Lead implementation projects (migrations, server deployments, network overhauls, cloud integrations).
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and configure Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Hyper-V/VMware environments.
  • Configure and support advanced networking (VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, switching, routing).
  • Document solutions and ensure accurate records in the PSA system (Autotask).
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1 and 2 technicians.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents as needed.
  • Ensure all client systems are aligned with industry best practices and cybersecurity standards.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Collaborate with account managers and project teams on client planning and strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, including at least 2 years in an MSP or similar environment.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms.
  • Strong networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Proficiency with RMM and PSA tools.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Relevant certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco).
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell preferred).
  • Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, NIST, ISO).
  • Familiarity with cloud-first and hybrid environments.
  • Previous project management or leadership experience.
