We're seeking a Workforce Scheduler – Team Leader to guide our scheduling team, streamline operations, and ensure our workforce is in the right place at the right time.

The Role

This is not just about building rosters — it's about leading people and improving processes. You'll supervise a team of schedulers, coordinate with department managers, and drive efficient, compliant workforce planning. You'll be a point of escalation for complex scheduling issues and a role model for excellent service and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead, mentor, and support a team of workforce schedulers.

·       Oversee creation of accurate and compliant rosters to meet operational needs.

·       Manage escalations, complex leave requests, and last-minute staffing changes.

·       Collaborate with managers to forecast staffing requirements.

·       Monitor schedule adherence and adjust resources in real time.

·       Analyse scheduling data to identify efficiencies and cost savings.

·       Ensure rosters meet legal, award, and enterprise agreement requirements.

·       Champion continuous improvement in scheduling processes and tools.

What We're Looking For

·       Proven experience in workforce scheduling, rostering, or resource planning.

·       Leadership experience — coaching and motivating a small to medium team.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Proficiency in scheduling software especially UKG Workforce Ready or Dayforce and Microsoft Office Suite.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
