About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team at Zirconia Inc' in Makati City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth procurement and inventory management operations of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist the Purchasing Manager in all procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships
  2. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment and efficient stock management
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements in purchasing and inventory control
  4. Prepare and analyse procurement reports, providing insights and recommendations to management
  5. Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  6. Support the development and maintenance of procurement policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or inventory management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
  2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  4. Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software, as well as Microsoft Office suite
  5. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  6. Knowledge of purchasing best practices, supplier management, and inventory control principles
