Position Title: Cook / Utility & Maintenance Worker

Reports to: Operations Manager / HR Department

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

The Cook / Utility & Maintenance Worker is responsible for preparing and cooking meals for employees, ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and performing general utility and maintenance tasks to support the company's day-to-day operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesCooking & Kitchen Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to company menu or management instructions.
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen, pantry, and dining areas.
  • Monitor food supplies and report shortages to the management.
  • Follow safety, hygiene, and nutrition standards in food preparation.

Utility & Maintenance Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning in office, common areas, and facilities.
  • Assist in minor repairs such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or other maintenance work as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of company premises, including comfort rooms, hallways, and outdoor areas.
  • Assist in moving, arranging, or carrying office furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Report major damages, safety hazards, and needed repairs to the management promptly.

Qualifications

  • At least High School graduate or equivalent.
  • With experience as Cook or Kitchen Helper preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance and repair work.
  • Physically fit, hardworking, and willing to multitask.
  • Can work with minimal supervision and flexible with work assignments.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (or as required by operations).
