Job Overview:
As the Marketing Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading the creative direction and execution of marketing activities that align with our brand and business objectives. You will manage a team of creative professionals and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, including [types of events, e.g., open houses, product launches, corporate events, etc.] as well as be responsible for the Marketing team's creative materials. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our events are memorable and impactful, and that our creative output effectively communicates our brand message.
Key Responsibilities:
Creatives
1.
Concept Development
:
o Develop visual concepts and designs that align with the project's objectives and client requirements.
o Collaborate with clientsand other stakeholders to understand their vision and goals.
2.
Team Management
:
o Lead and manage a team of designers, illustrators, and other creative professionals.
o Provide guidance, feedback, and direction to team members to ensure high-quality output.
3.
Design Oversight
:
o Oversee the creation of visual elements including layouts, graphics, and typography.
o Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines and project specifications.
4.
Project Management
:
o Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
o Coordinate with other departments or teams to integrate visual elements with other aspects of the project.
5.
Client Interaction
:
o Present and explain design concepts and ideas to clients.
o Make revisions based on client feedback and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
6.
Quality Control
:
o Review and approve final designs before production or implementation.
o Address any issues or revisions required to meet the project's standards.
Events
1.
Event Planning and Coordination
:
o Develop and implement detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistical requirements.
o Coordinate all aspects of event planning, from venue selection and catering to entertainment and technical needs.
2.
Client and Stakeholder Liaison
:
o Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to understand their needs and preferences.
o Provide regular updates on event progress and address any client or stakeholder concerns.
3.
Vendor and Supplier Management
:
o Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, including caterers, decorators, and AV technicians.
o Ensure contracts are in place and services are delivered as agreed.
4.
Budget Management
:
o Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and controlled.
o Handle invoicing and payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
5.
Team Leadership
:
o Assemble and lead a team of staff or volunteers for event execution.
o Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
6.
Marketing and Promotion
:
o Create and execute marketing plans to promote the event and drive attendance.
o Manage event-related communications, including invitations, social media posts, and press releases.
7.
On-Site Management
:
o Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown to ensure everything runs smoothly.
o Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during the event.
8.
Post-Event Evaluation
:
o Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback from clients, attendees, and team members.
o Prepare and present reports on event outcomes, including attendance, feedback, and financial performance.
Out of Home Merchandising
1.
Strategic Planning and Implementation
:
o Develop and execute strategies for out-of-home (OOH) merchandising and advertising to maximize visibility and effectiveness.
o Plan and oversee the placement of advertising materials in high-traffic areas such as transit stations, airports, billboards, and other public spaces.
2.
Site Selection and Negotiation
:
o Identify and evaluate potential OOH sites for advertising and merchandising based on audience reach, location, and visibility.
o Negotiate contracts and agreements with site owners, property managers, and advertising agencies.
3.
Project Management
:
o Manage the production and installation of advertising displays and promotional materials.
o Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and installation teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution of projects.
4.
Vendor and Supplier Management
:
o Source and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for materials, printing, and installation services.
o Negotiate terms, review contracts, and ensure compliance with agreements.
5.
Budget Management
:
o Develop and manage budgets for OOH merchandising projects, ensuring that expenditures are tracked and controlled.
o Handle invoicing, payments, and financial reporting for OOH campaigns.
6.
Campaign Execution and Monitoring
:
o Oversee the implementation of OOH advertising campaigns, ensuring materials are displayed correctly and maintained.
o Regularly inspect and manage the condition of displays, addressing any issues promptly.
7.
Data Analysis and Reporting
:
o Track and analyze performance metrics for OOH campaigns, such as audience reach, engagement, and return on investment (ROI).
o Prepare and present reports on campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for future improvements.
8.
Compliance and Regulations
:
o Ensure that all OOH advertising and merchandising practices comply with local, regional, and national regulations.
o Stay informed about industry trends, legal requirements, and best practices in OOH advertising.
9.
Collaboration and Communication
:
o Work closely with marketing, creative, and sales teams to align OOH merchandising strategies with overall brand goals and campaigns.
o Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
Education:

Degree
:

Bachelor's Degree
: A degree in Art, Design, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field is usually required.
Experience:

Professional Experience

Years of Experience
: Typically, several years of experience in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field, including experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

Portfolio
: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and demonstrating leadership and creativity is crucial.

Relevant Experience

o Experience working on various types of projects (e.g., advertising, branding, digital media, print).
o Previous roles such as Senior Designer, Associate Art Director, or similar positions where leadership and creative direction were part of the responsibilities.
