Plant Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven
Plant Finance Manager
to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing plant. The role will be responsible for managing plant-related finance activities, ensuring accurate cost accounting, fixed asset management, and providing financial insights that support operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a strong background in plant finance operations, a keen understanding of cost structures, and is willing to travel as required to support multiple plant sites.

What are their Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall financial operations of the plant, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.
  • Oversee
    plant cost accounting
    , including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.
  • Manage
    fixed asset accounting
    and ensure timely capitalization, tagging, and disposal of plant assets.
  • Partner closely with Plant Operations, Supply Chain, and Production teams to analyze financial performance and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for plant operations.
  • Monitor inventory valuation, production costs, and yield performance to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to plant leadership for decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure strong internal controls within plant finance activities.
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to plant sites for operational and finance reviews.

What are the Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, or related field
    ; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum of
    7–10 years of progressive finance experience
    , with at least 3 years in
    plant finance operations
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    plant cost accounting, inventory management, and fixed asset accounting
    .
  • Proven ability to work closely with plant operations and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as business requires.
