Freelance Social Media Video Reviewer

We create YouTube videos to offer test strategies, content review, and test info for multiple channels. We're looking for experienced and detail-oriented video reviewers to ensure all content meets requisite standards before posting. This is an online, remote, contract role. All work is paid hourly.
Project DescriptionOur video reviewers evaluate raw and edited videos based on varying guidelines, depending on the video type, audience, channel, etc. Reviewers collaborate with and provide constructive feedback to both video presenters and video editors, requiring strong professional communication skills. Video reviewers must make decisions based on audio, visual, and content quality, have a keen eye for detail, and a creative mindset.
Your work will directly impact the quality of the educational and informational content we share online, and may require fact-checking, alignment to branding and design templates, and sharing innovative ideas to improve video production.
Project Work:
- Evaluate raw and edited videos to ensure they meet project quality standards
- Fact-check content to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with video creators, editors, and project team
- Provide professional, positive-constructive feedback to video production creators and editors
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of video production workflows and standards
- Excellent decision-making skills, balancing quality with efficiency
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience fact-checking content for accuracy and reliability
- Excellent professional written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of educational content creation and/or online learning platforms
- Basic video editing and/or production experience
- Knowledge of video editing tools and processes
- Familiarity with design templates and visual elements
- Experience with video production for social media platforms
- At least 2 years of experience in video production (creation and/or editing) is required.
- Reliable Payments: You'll receive payments twice a month and automated invoicing for your work.
- Remote Work: This is a fully online contracted work-from-home opportunity.
- Flexibility: Basically, there are no requirements Work when you want, where you want, as often as you want, with no minimums/maximums.
- Support: Our supportive staff is available answer your questions and help you get up and running.
The Contract Process
- Complete the application and submit with your resume.
- Applications are approved and contracts sent on Wednesdays.
- Submit the contract within the 5-day signing window.
