Seeking a Video Editor/ Social Media Producer

Description:
We are seeking a talented Social Producer/Editor to join our team on a part-time basis This role will focus on creating engaging short-form video content for Instagram and TikTok, with an emphasis on producing 15-second to 1-minute videos in a 9:16 aspect ratio.

The ideal candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail, the ability to work fast under tight deadlines, and a strong track record of editing content specifically for social media platforms. You'll be responsible for sourcing, editing, and crafting stories from various types of footage—whether it's curated YouTube videos, behind-the-scenes content, or online ad campaigns. You should have a passion for digital media, storytelling, and brand-building, with experience in editing dynamic, polished social videos that stand out on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

Experience in After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Premiere Pro is required, and you should be knowledgeable about video trends, best practices, and social media formatting. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, we want to see your skills in action

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit polished YouTube videos, online ads, or behind-the-scenes footage into 15-sec to 1-minute clips optimized for TikTok and Instagram (9:16 aspect ratio or 4:5 aspect ratio).

• Integrate dynamic text overlays, transitions, and visual effects to make videos visually engaging and brand-appropriate.

• Add royalty-free music and sound effects to enhance the audio-visual experience.

• Maintain a consistent editing style that aligns with our overall brand identity and creative direction.

• Ensure the timely delivery of videos to meet posting schedules and content calendars.

• Collaborate closely with the team to align with the creative vision and maintain high editorial standards.
Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing, especially for social media content (TikTok, Instagram).

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and/or After Effects.

• Strong ability to quickly trim, cut, and edit content while keeping it engaging and on-brand.

• High attention to detail, especially in timing, transitions, and audio syncing.

• Familiarity with social media video trends, best practices, and platform-specific formatting (9:16 aspect ratio).

• Knowledge of royalty-free music and sound effects for professional-quality audio.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple video projects simultaneously.
