
Project Management Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Supervision and Support
- Assist the Project Management Lead in overseeing and managing all construction activities for assigned projects.
- Observe timeliness and accuracy in completing all pre-construction requirements.
- Implement all company, client, and project-specific policies, procedures, and standards across assigned projects.
2. Quality and Compliance Management
- Adhere to the project quality standards and parameters set by the Project Management Head.
- Establish, track, and report all non-conformance activities including Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Approval (RFA), and Construction Variation Instructions (CVI).
- Supervise subcontractor activities to ensure alignment with approved plans, schedules, and quality standards.
- Review, verify, and recommend for Project Management Lead approval all subcontractor reports and variation/change order requests.
- Assist in the proper handover of completed works to the client and ensure all punchlist items and rectification works are completed.
3. Safety and Risk Management
- Enforce all relevant safety rules on-site, including ensuring all personnel wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings and daily briefing sessions with the project team to monitor progress and anticipate potential delays.
- Document all toolbox meetings and ensure proper record-keeping of all safety-related incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions.
4. Documentation and Reporting
- Attend and document all coordination meetings organized by clients, construction management, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports, including daily progress updates, safety reports, and required project documentation.
- Follow the prescribed guidelines on the proper use of official communication channels and formats established by management for all project-related and office communication, reporting, and documentation.
5. Problem-Solving and Proactive Issue Resolution
- Identify potential project delays and deviations from the plan, and immediately implement corrective actions to recover lost time and avoid cascading impacts on the schedule.
- Monitor and promptly escalate unresolved issues to the Project Management Lead for proper resolution.
6. Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other project partners to ensure seamless coordination and client satisfaction.
- Provide professional and proactive communication to clients to ensure their concerns are addressed promptly and satisfactorily.
Technical Competency Requirements
- Project Coordination and Monitoring - Track day-to-day project activities, monitors work progress, and coordinates with project teams to align with approved schedules and plans.
- Construction Quality Management - Ensures compliance with established project quality standards and identifies non-conformances for timely correction.
- Resource and Cost Management - Tracks labor, materials, and equipment utilization to align with project budgets and productivity targets, while identifying areas for improved efficiency.
- Safety Compliance Monitoring - Observes and documents site compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards, while promoting hazard identification and risk reduction.
- Client and Stakeholder Management - Prepares, consolidates, and submits accurate project documentation and reports, including progress updates, coordination minutes, and required project records.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple project stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
