The role:

• Analyze monthly US revenue streams and identify key drivers behind growth and decline.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly revenue reporting for management review.
• Prepare provision against customer debt that is deemed uncollectible in accordance with US GAAP requirements.
• Review and reconcile deferred revenue accounts.
• Support external audit processes related to revenue recognition and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage royalty revenue relationships with third parties.
• Maintain Day 7 revenue close.
• This role will have no people management responsibilities.
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Salesforce would be preferred but not required.

Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

The ideal candidate:

• Fully qualified accountant with experience in industry
• Commercial acumen with the ability to work with stakeholders
• Good understanding of accounting and reporting standards
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and manipulate financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Strong excel skills including but not limited to VLOOKUPS/XLOOKUPS/PIVOT tables/SUMIFS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
