Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous Parts Checker to join our team. This position ensures the accuracy, quality, and efficient handling of parts within our inventory system. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and computer literate, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of parts received against delivery documents and purchase orders.
  • Inspect parts for defects or damage, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Organize and label parts appropriately for storage or dispatch.
  • Update inventory systems to reflect parts received, issued, or returned.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide support in loading, unloading, and storing parts as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years of college education in any course.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or a similar role is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy parts as required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
