About the role

As a Banquet Supervisor at THE RITZ HOTEL AT GARDEN OASES', you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and seamless operation of the company's banquet services. Based in Davao City, Davao del Sur, this full-time position will see you leading a team of banquet staff to ensure exceptional customer experiences are delivered at all times.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and directing the banquet staff in the preparation, set-up, and service of events and functions
  • Ensuring all banquet events are executed to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Managing the allocation of staff and resources to optimise efficiency and productivity
  • Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for necessary supplies and equipment
  • Resolving any customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing on-the-job training and development opportunities for the banquet team
  • Maintaining detailed records and reports on banquet operations

What we're looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in banquet or catering operations
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficient in coordinating staff, scheduling, and inventory management
  • Thorough understanding of food service operations, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members
