About the Role:

We are a fast-growing early-childhood education company based in the United States, seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer. In this role, you will work closely with our U.S.-based data and IT teams to design, develop, and maintain robust data visualizations and reporting solutions. Your work will empower decision-makers with actionable insights, driving improvements across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Build and optimize data models that support efficient, accurate, and scalable reporting.
  • Write complex SQL queries and DAX expressions to extract, clean, and transform data from diverse data sources.
  • Partner with analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Continuously troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance Power BI solutions to ensure high performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data analytics.
  • Strong command of SQL, with the ability to write and understand complex queries.
  • Solid experience in data modeling, including star-schema design, relationship management, Power Query, and DAX.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and solve problems in a structured and logical manner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Experience working in the education sector or with educational data.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud data platforms.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices in BI environments.
