Job Summary:

We are hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR compliance. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. You will also coordinate with our U.S. finance team to align financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file BIR tax returns
  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger
  • Prepare financial statements based on local GAAP
  • Support tax planning, audits, and compliance with government agencies
  • Monitor tax law updates and handle BIR communications
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
  • Assist with audits, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Collaborate with U.S. finance leadership to align financial practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
  • CPA license is a plus but not required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting and BIR compliance
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and regulations
  • Experience in handling BIR audits and tax assessments is preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Good communication and ability to work across time zones
