Gienic is a fast-growing hygiene products and solutions company transforming how businesses manage consumables, ordering, and customer service across Australia. As they scale, they're investing heavily in smarter systems — and Odoo sits at the heart of that transformation.

They're looking for an Odoo Developer who can take ownership of customisations, integrations, and ongoing improvements to help streamline operations and deliver a next-level digital experience for customers and internal teams.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and customise Odoo modules (both backend and frontend) across CRM, sales, inventory, procurement, accounting, and service workflows.
  • Implement integrations with third-party platforms (e-commerce, finance, logistics, BI tools, etc.).
  • Build scalable automations and data workflows to optimise ordering, fulfilment, and customer service.
  • Work closely with operations, sales, and customer support to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Own bug fixes, technical support, and performance tuning of existing Odoo modules.
  • Participate in the design of new features, system architecture, and future platform roadmap.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of hands-on Odoo development experience (v14+ preferred).
  • Strong Python development skills and good understanding of Odoo ORM.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, API integrations (REST), and front-end (XML/QWeb/JavaScript).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clean, functional code.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environments.
  • Familiarity with or cloud-based deployment.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
  • An eye for UX and workflow simplification.
