TECHNICAL LEAD (software development team leader)

Project Location: PB Com, Makati City

Hybrid (3 days per week RTO/onsite)

Dayshift, Monday to Friday

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Someone with experience in developing and leading a team for min of 3 years

·       Tech: ReactJS and React Native

·       Preferably with Banking / Fintech / Telco experience as they are usually the ones familiar with API integration; or they should have experience with projects related to payment gateway

·       In-depth understanding of Android and iOS app and backend development

·       Experience working as part of an Agile team (Scrum and/or Kanban)

·       Ability in handling or leading a big development team of 2 or more squads with at least 3 members each

·       Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies

OVERVIEW

A Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing the overall project timeline and scope of the deliverables. The job description of a Technical Lead includes the following:

·       Will lead the team but will not develop

·       Starting a new team/squad

·       Work closely with the Business Analysts, and Scrum Master, and Product Owner regarding the prioritization and overall product roadmap of development

·       Work closely with the Development Team to define and estimate the business requirements and translates into specific software tasks

·       Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments

·       Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements

·       Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required

·       Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes
