Role:

You'll be working with Company SMEs, the Business Solution Development Team, and third-party providers to ensure accurate, accessible, and well-structured data. From optimizing data pipelines to creating automated dashboards, you'll be the go-to for turning raw data into actionable business tools—while making sure we stay compliant, secure, and future-ready(ish).

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable data solutions

· Build, monitor, and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows

· Ensure data quality, accuracy, and validation using automated tools

· Implement data deduplication and cleansing processes

· Support compliance with privacy and security standards

· Leverage DevOps practices and infrastructure as code for deployment

· Document data flow, architecture, and processes clearly for knowledge-sharing

· Contribute to data warehousing and analytics projects across departments

· Work across teams to troubleshoot data issues and improve performance

Requirements:
Education & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar quantitative field

· years' experience in data engineering or equivalent role

· Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization, validation)

· Familiarity with MsSQL, OracleDB, and basic data validation

· Bonus: Experience in Python or Java, ETL processes, MongoDB, and building data pipelines

· Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Technical Competencies:

· Experience with data pipelines, workflow orchestration, and structured data modeling

· Solid understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices

· Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker)

· Familiarity with BI/reporting tools like Power BI (a plus)

· Bonus if you've worked on Data Warehouse Projects

· Knowledge in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage
