Objective: Find a data-driven expert who will extract, analyze, and model data from our Shopee and Lazada storefronts. The primary goal is to move from intuition-based decisions to data-backed strategies that increase real profitability, optimize marketing spend, and improve customer targeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Extraction & Integration:

  2. Utilize Lazada and Shopee API access (or approved data scraping tools) to extract sales, product, customer, and advertising data.

  3. Clean, structure, and integrate this data into a centralized database or dashboard for a single source of truth.

  4. Profitability Analysis:

Build a model to calculate the "Real Profit per Order" by factoring in:

  • Product Cost (COGS)
  • Selling Price o Platform Commission Fees
  • Payment Gateway Fees
  • Shipping Fees (paid by seller and customer)
  • Promotional Costs (voucher discounts, coins discounts, flash sale costs)

  • Marketing Costs (Cost of Sponsored Ads used to acquire that sale).

  • Promotional & Voucher Optimization:

  • Analyze the historical performance of different discounts and vouchers.

  • Build a model to determine the optimal discount level that maximizes conversion rate without eroding profitability.

  • Identify which voucher types (e.g., flexbundle discounts, % off, voucher, cashback) are most effective for different customer segments and products.

  • Advertising Spend (SPP/CPAS) Optimization:

  • Analyze the performance of Sponsored Ads campaigns.

  • Determine the optimal bid amounts for keywords and products based on target Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).

  • Build a model to recommend daily budgets and bidding strategies to maximize profitable sales volume.

  • Customer Segmentation & Personalization:

  • Perform RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) analysis on the customer base.

  • Use clustering techniques (e.g., K-Means Clustering) to identify distinct customer groups (e.g., "Loyal brand Lovers," "Discount Seekers," "One-Time Gift Buyers").
  • Recommend targeted marketing strategies and the most effective type of voucher or promotion for each segment to increase lifetime value (LTV).

Required Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable):

Technical Skills:

  • Python/R Proficiency: Expert-level skills in data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy), statistical analysis (SciPy, Statsmodels), and machine learning (Scikit-learn).
  • SQL: Ability to write complex queries to extract and manage data from databases.
  • Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio to create clear, actionable dashboards for you.
  • API Integration: Experience working with e-commerce APIs (Lazada/Shopee API experience is a massive plus).

E-Commerce & Business Acumen:

  • Must have direct experience analyzing Lazada and Shopee seller data. They should understand the platform's fee structure, marketing tools, and data limitations.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce KPIs: Conversion Rate (CVR), Average Order Value (AOV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English to explain insights to a non-technical manager.
  • Proactive and self-directed, able to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on driving profitability.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
