Transit Mixer Driver

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Checks the condition of the vehicle before travelling on project sites; report any electrical and mechanical faults to the Dispatcher or Head Mechanic.

· Keep all of the important vehicle documents (e.g: OR, CR) safe and in place while performing duty as Transit Mixer Driver.

· Drive transit mixer truck to and from each project sites in punctual and responsible manner; park and set-up truck properly after arriving at the location.

· Lowering of chute and pouring the concrete and then move chute back and forth to spread the concrete according to the direction of the supervisor or person in charge.

· Inspect job site upon arrival & unload material.

· After pouring all of the concrete, perform inspections and preventive maintenance and keeping the exterior and interior of the vehicle clean and tidy.

· Maintain delivery logs and obtain customers' signature receiving documents.

· Keep a travel log to record areas travelled to, travel time and work hours.

· Perform pre-trip vehicle safety inspection & check fluid levels daily.

· Keep all records and receipts of vehicle maintenance; surrender it to the office for records.

· Report any case of accident, injury or damage of the vehicle.

· Follow company quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

· Perform such other duties and functions as maybe required by the General Manager/President from time to time within the bounds of the company policy.

QUALIFICATION

Education and/or Experience:

· Atleast High school graduate or any vocational course, Mixer Driver also need to have clean driving record.

· With 1-2 years experienced of driving a mixer truck or equivalent combination of education and experience.
