About the job

Responsible for providing operational reports, dashboards, analyses and ad hoc data requests to operations and other business units. Analyzes, interprets and transforms data to insights to improve strategies.

What you will do:

  • Collect data from multiple sources and databases, maintain and update master lists and databases
  • Ensure data accuracy prior to ingestion to the Data Warehouse/Lakehouse
  • Create complex SQL queries joining multiple databases/tables/views to retrieve and analyze information
  • Extract data, create and update reports & deliver output to operations, customer support and different business units on a periodic basis
  • Provide ad hoc requests for data, report, dashboard and/or analysis to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain reports and analytics dashboards in Tableau, Databricks and spreadsheet
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and identify performance improvement opportunities via Microsoft pivot tables, crosstabs, Tableau or via other tools. Proactively determine areas for drill-down focus and conduct analyses to understand the drivers of performance gaps
  • Carry out continuous improvement initiatives to make sure processes and reports are responsive to changing needs
  • Work with operations to identify business and reporting requirements.
  • Document current operational processes as part of root cause analysis and input to improvement initiatives; identify possible gaps that may be contributing to lower key metric results

What we are looking for:

  • At least a year of technical experience (data handling / SQL / MS Excel / report creation)
  • With operational experience in the areas of Data Mining. Analysis and Investigation
  • Preferably from the Financial Service, Banking, or technology industries
