About the role

Sotogrande Hotel and Resort Group is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance professional to be assigned to Arterra Hotel Lapu-Lapu City. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our hotel's facilities, ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all hotel equipment, machinery, and systems to identify and address any issues
  • Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctioning equipment or systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to facilitate repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs
  • Ensure the hotel and resort facilities adhere to all relevant safety and compliance standards
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our maintenance processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in industrial or facilities maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of various maintenance disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and external partners
