Work Health and Safety Officer - Remotely to Australia Human Resources Coordinator / Advisor We are a fast-growing construction company with a strong track record delivering high-quality remedial projects across NSW. With a diverse range of sites and a commitment to safety excellence, we are seeking an experienced and proactive WHS Officer to join our team. About the Role: As our WHS Officer, you’ll be the driving force behind safety compliance, culture, and continuous improvement across our projects. You’ll work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and senior leadership to ensure our workforce operates safely and efficiently every day. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across active projects Prepare and update SWMS, safety plans, toolbox talks, and site-specific safety documentation Lead safety inductions and onboarding for new employees and subcontractors Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, codes of practice, and company policies Investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards, and prepare detailed reports Support subcontractor management, safety compliance, and training verification Provide practical advice to site teams on safe work practices Assist in reviewing and improving WHS systems, policies, and procedures What You’ll Bring: Relevant WHS qualification (Cert IV WHS or higher) Proven experience in a construction or trades-based environment Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and industry standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident engaging with site teams Attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach Ability to travel between multiple sites when required Strong report writing, documentation, and record-keeping skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
