As a Context Engineer at Project Assistant, you'll architect systems to deliver precise, high-quality context to large language models (LLMs), enhancing workflows for API integrations, e-commerce automations, and custom web solutions. Using context engineering tools like GitHub's Spec Kit (as an example), Claude Code, Codex, and robust backend frameworks like FastAPI (Python) and Laravel API (PHP), alongside frontend technologies like React and , you'll build scalable, AI-driven applications while collaborating with our global team to create impactful digital experiences. Responsibilities

• Design and implement context engineering systems to optimize LLM performance for API integrations and e-commerce workflows.
• Drive spec-to-code efficiency using context engineering methodologies, leveraging tools like GitHub's Spec Kit or similar.
• Build and deploy scalable backend solutions using FastAPI (Python) and Laravel API (PHP), integrated with frontends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, remote teams to deliver client-focused web solutions with a focus on user experience.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing best practices in AI-driven development and context engineering techniques.
• Experiment with tools like Claude Code, Codex, LangChain, or Inngest to enhance development efficiency and innovation.

Experience

• 3+ years of web development experience with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, , and WordPress/Shopify.
• Demonstrated expertise in context engineering, building systems for LLMs using tools like Claude Code, Codex, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with spec-driven or context engineering methodologies for efficient code generation from specifications.
• Proven ability to develop and deploy backend solutions using FastAPI (Python) and/or Laravel API (PHP).
• Experience building responsive, high-performance frontends using React and in client-facing projects.
• Track record of delivering client-facing web projects in agile, remote, or cross-functional environments.
• Experience mentoring or guiding teams in AI-driven or context-aware development practices is highly desirable.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio showcasing context engineering solutions is a plus.

Skills

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, , and WordPress/Shopify for full-stack development.
• Strong expertise in context engineering for LLMs, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and dynamic prompting.
