Team Leader for Finance and Accounting

Job Specifications (but is not limited to):

  1. Oversee and ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting and transactions.

  2. Implement and maintain internal controls; ensure regulatory compliance.

  3. Manage cost and management accounting functions.

  4. Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyze financial performance.

  5. Lead financial forecasting and reporting, including annual, quarterly, and monthly performance reviews (financial modeling and analysis).

  6. Prepare and present financial reports and insights to management.

  7. Prepare management reports, including profit and loss statements for companies and projects.

  8. Prepare budget reports and variance analysis.

  9. Assist with projects costing.

  10. Communicate effectively within the team and with other departments and address ad hoc requests.

Job Requirements:

  1. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related business discipline is required (CPA preferred).

  2. Experience: Several years of experience in finance/accounting, including leadership roles.

  3. Financial Management: Proven track record in managing financial processes, budgets, and financial reporting.

  4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.

  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems (e.g., ERP systems).

  6. Leadership: Demonstrated team management and communication skills.

  7. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy and precision.

  8. Flexibility: Ability to work effectively under pressure.
