We are looking for a goal-oriented individual to fill in the ACTUARIAL MANAGER Role.
The Actuarial Manager manages the operation of the actuarial department, effectively reviewing pricing and analyzing statistical data for the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively contribute to developing and executing the company's business strategy by providing appropriate information, actuarial advice, and guidance.
- Manage the actuarial team, providing technical support and overseeing task delegations.
- Ensure appropriate market pricing while maintaining the financial stability of the company.
- Formulate liability valuation and product pricing through experience studies.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for various products, considering market trends, competitors, and customers.
- Conduct market competitor analysis to identify pricing and product opportunities.
- Adhere to the policies and programs outlined by the Board of Directors and operate within the scope of statutory limitations and strategies.
- Ensure smooth collaboration with other departments and effectively address concerns related to actuarial
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent
- At least 10 years of working experience in healthcare, preferably in the HMO industry
- Fluent in actuarial principles, pricing, valuation, profitability analysis, and reinsurance programs
- Sharp business acumen and sound decision-making based on data and statistics
- Financial experience managing and formulating operational budgets
- Ability to design and implement training programs and evaluations to measure its success
- Ability to think strategically and lead people
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Results-oriented with good leadership skills
- Willing to be assigned in Pasig area (in front of Estancia Mall), and report on-site Monday to Friday
