The accounting assistant will play a key role in supporting the Billing and Finance Team by monitoring, client collections, coordinating with clients for payment follow-ups, managing billing documentation, and assisting with project records in SAP Business One (SAP B1).

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Billing Staff to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
  • Monitor the SOAs of clients and identify which accounts require follow-up of reminders
  • Track and monitor client payments and outstanding receivables
  • Conduct follow-ups via email and phone calls for overdue accounts and coordinate with clients on payment schedules
  • Maintain an organized collection schedule and update collection remarks regularly
  • Prepare and issue acknowledgement receipts and collection receipts upon receipt of client payments
  • Reconcile and match payments received with the client ledger
  • Prepare the unbilled revenue report on a scheduled basis and submit it to the Finance Manager
  • Assist in identifying and documenting any billing discrepancies for resolution
  • Update the project list in SAP B1 in coordination with project managers and billing personnel
  • Ensure data accuracy in the SAP system for project codes, client details, and billing status
  • Review and identify collections from the SOA
  • Tag and match the collections with respective client accounts and issue corresponding official receipts
  • Support the finance and accounting team with any ad hoc tasks of reporting requirements
  • Assist in internal and external audit preparation by ensuring all collection records and documentation are complete and accurate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Finance, Business Administration, or any related field
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in billing, collections, or accounting support
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP B1) is an advantage
  • Strong attention in detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
