Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotes, ensuring clients receive pricing within 24–48 hours. This role requires a strong understanding of construction or the stone/benchtop industry, with the ability to read cabinet maker plans and occasionally scale off full house plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate quotes for stone benchtops, ensuring turnaround within 24–48 hours.
  • Review and interpret cabinet maker plans and full house plans for estimating purposes.
  • Use Moraware CounterGo quoting software to draw benchtops, input specifications, and generate pricing.
  • Adjust quotes based on different materials, including engineered stone, granite, marble, and porcelain.
  • Communicate effectively with cabinet makers, builders, and direct clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotes, client communications, and project details in the system.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth project handovers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in construction, cabinetry, or the stone/benchtop industry (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of materials such as engineered stone, granite, marble, and porcelain.
  • Ability to read and interpret cabinet maker plans and architectural drawings.
  • Proficiency in using quoting or project management software (experience with Moraware CounterGo highly regarded).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet strict quoting deadlines.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with cabinet makers, builders, and clients.
  • Can start ASAP
