About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, data platforms, and data solutions that enable business intelligence (BI) and advanced analytics across the organization. This role requires strong expertise in data engineering, cloud-enabled technologies, and enterprise data warehouse design.

Key Responsibilities:

Design

  • Analyse internally and externally sourced raw data to generate BI and Advanced Analytics datasets based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Design scalable data pipelines to curate sourced data into the in-house data warehouse.
  • Develop data marts to facilitate dataset consumption by both business and IT stakeholders.
  • Design and implement data model changes that align with in-house data warehouse standards.
  • Define and execute migration activities to transition data from existing database solutions to the in-house data warehouse.

Engineer

  • Perform regular housekeeping of raw data and data stored in the in-house data warehouse.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, data platforms, and data solution prototypes.
  • Explore ways to improve data quality and reliability.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to acquire better raw data sources.
  • Develop analytical tooling to support BI and advanced analytics activities.
  • Execute database migration projects into the in-house data warehouse.
  • Promote and champion data engineering standards and best-in-class methodologies.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
  • Strong understanding or practical experience with at least one Enterprise Agile Framework (Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of ETL, data warehouse, BI (Qlik), and Advanced Analytics concepts
  • Deep knowledge of cloud-enabled technologies (AWS RDS, AWS Fargate, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with databases and data warehouses (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MS SQL)
  • Strong programming skills with advanced knowledge of Java and/or Python
  • Practical experience with ETL tools such as AWS Glue

  • Hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
