Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Lead (Offshore)

Location: Offshore (Global collaboration across EMEA & Americas)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer Lead to drive data integration architecture and execution for two enterprise-scale IT initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned data professional who thrives in building scalable, high-performance data pipelines while mentoring teams and collaborating across global regions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead data integration design and implementation across multiple systems into DW using SnapLogic, Coalesce, FiveTran, and Snowflake.

Architect high-performance, reusable workflows for data extraction, transformation, enrichment, and quality improvement.

Ensure seamless collaboration and handoffs between global teams in EMEA, Americas, and APAC.

Participate in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and stakeholder meetings.

Champion best practices in metadata-driven integration, documentation, governance, and cross-regional knowledge sharing.

Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and integration issues across geographies.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years in Data Engineering, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.

Strong expertise in SnapLogic (Snowflake experience highly preferred).

Expert-level SQL and understanding of DW ETL/ELT tools.

Proven success in global team collaboration, especially across APAC and Western time zones.

Hands-on experience with Python and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of integration frameworks, REST APIs, and real-time data streaming.

Excellent communication skills, with cultural agility and stakeholder empathy.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in SnapLogic, Snowflake (SnowPro), Coalesce, Fivetran, or Cloud Architecture.

Experience supporting handoffs between India, North America, and Europe.

Background in large-scale IT project delivery within distributed environments.

Non-Negotiables

Not a frequent job-hopper (must have history of stable roles).

Must not be a present or former employee of CGI.
