JOB SUMMARY

Manage the end-to-end accounting process. The role involves overseeing the full accounting cycle—from recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports, to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle the full accounting cycle of various affiliated companies, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Approve accounts payable vouchers and payment vouchers.
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and variance analysis of various accounts.
  • Process payroll and ensure statutory compliance with government reporting and remittances.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, and other adjusting entries.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and schedules.
  • Conduct quarterly inventory of materials.
  • Manage intercompany schedules.
  • Prepare, file, and ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR returns (e.g., VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, etc.).
  • Assist with the renewal of permits and other documents needed for operations.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of accounting operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferred; background in real estate is an advantage.
  • Experience in cost accounting is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office, accounting software, and database management.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work accurately.
