JOB SUMMARY:

The IT security and Compliance officerplays a pivotal role in reviewing and enhancing the business processes and workflows of the organization to drive efficiency and maintain competitiveness within the industry. This position is responsible for updating process documentation and related policies, ensuring alignment with business requirements while addressing potential risks. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential to liaise with stakeholders and process owners. Additionally, strong writing and documentation abilities are required to fulfill the responsibilities effectively.

  • Support the execution and continuous improvement including control implementation, documentation, and internal audit readiness.
  • Contribute to the development of audit-ready policies and procedures that align with CIS Controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments, control validations, and compliance reviews to support ongoing risk management and certification efforts.
  • Coordinate and document security-related audits, including evidence gathering and audit response tracking.
  • Assist in collaboration with IT, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure security and compliance requirements are addressed during system and product changes.

CHECKING/MONITORING:

3.1 Ensure all documented workflows reflect current business practices.

3.2 Maintain policies and procedures, ensuring applicability to the organization.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy with at least 3 years experience in IT Auditing
  • Or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with minimum of four (4) years in Information Technology Compliance and Security, IT Project Management

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is an advantage but not required.

  • Knowledgeable in using SAP
