Compliance Officer

Job Summary

The
Compliance Officer
will play a vital role in supporting Enable's
Sourcing, Risk & Compliance (SRC) function
by ensuring the company meets both external regulatory/statutory requirements and internal policies. This role involves partnering with departments to interpret compliance obligations, identify practical solutions, and ensure alignment with both internal quality standards and external regulations.

A key responsibility will be to conduct and support audits—internal and external—while driving continuous monitoring, reporting, and process improvements. The Compliance Officer will also help deliver Enable's
Compliance Strategy
, strengthening the organization's governance framework as it continues its journey toward IPO readiness.

Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Auditor (60%)

• Conduct internal audits of business processes (compliance, security, risk, and governance) against the company's
  Quality Management System (QMS)
  . Some audits will be independently led, with oversight from the Compliance Manager.
• Act as subject matter expert in facilitating external audits (e.g.,
  SSAE18/SOC1 & SOC2
  in North America, and/or
  ISO 9001, ISO 27001
  globally) alongside the Compliance Manager.
• Support the design and execution of internal audit programs covering quality, data management, and information security.
• Present audit findings, risk reports, and recommendations to SRC Leadership, the Compliance Committee, and other stakeholders.
• Identify non-conformities and opportunities for improvement, document remediation timelines, and collaborate with departments to ensure closure of findings.

Compliance Officer (40%)

• Assist the Compliance Manager in implementing the organization's
  Compliance Strategy
  .
• Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and related communications.
• Provide training and guidance to departments on compliance obligations and pragmatic approaches to meeting standards.
• Support administration of privacy notices,
  Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
  ,
  Legitimate Interest Assessments
  , and the
  Record of Processing Activities (RoPA)
  to demonstrate ongoing data protection compliance.
• Monitor regulatory, standards, and legislative updates, assess their impact, and recommend adjustments to the management system.
• Identify and escalate potential data security risks, including issues requiring
  prior consultation under Article 36 of GDPR (2018)
  or subsequent legislative updates.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Strong ability to articulate and communicate compliance requirements effectively.
• Willingness to continuously develop knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
• Self-motivated, able to manage multiple workstreams within deadlines.
• Adaptable, with a track record of embracing change and continuous improvement.
• Skilled in building collaborative stakeholder relationships across departments and with clients.
• Confident in engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Formal qualification in compliance/regulatory control (e.g.,
  ISO Internal Auditor certification
  ) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with risk management standards (e.g.,
  ISO 31000
  ) is an advantage.

Required Education and Experience

• 2–5 years' experience in a
  compliance, governance, or audit role
  .
• Background in a technical environment (e.g., information systems, finance, engineering).
• Hands-on experience with regulatory audits (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, or SSAE18 framework preferred).
• Experience working with external audit agencies (e.g., ISO auditors).

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field.
