Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Lead to design, implement and lead ITOM solutions using industry best practices. The role requires hands-on development, integration with third‑party monitoring tools, and strong CMDB architecture experience to support enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.

Key Responsibilities & Core Requirements (Must Have)
  • Solutioning and designing ITOM solutions following industry best practices
  • Advise, design and configure integration solutions between ServiceNow and other CMDB/tools
  • CMDB design, architecture and implementations with strong understanding of the ServiceNow CMDB model and extensions
  • Hands-on development including creation/configuration/customization of patterns, Discovery schedules, probes, sensors and Event rules
  • Integrate ServiceNow ITOM modules with enterprise monitoring tools and automation of alerts using OOTB plugins and APIs
  • Implementation experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and Orchestration use cases
  • 3rd-party software integrations with ServiceNow
  • Design and modify ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs and related components
  • MID Server installation, configuration and management experience
  • Experience across multiple ServiceNow implementations and leading instance configuration/customization
Good to Have
  • Experience in application, infrastructure, database and network architecture, and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies and cloud computing principles (SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, automation)
  • Understanding of Application and Technology Portfolio Management
  • Experience with other discovery technologies (ADDM, TADDM, UD, etc.)
  • Scripting skills such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Perl, WMI, SSH, Python, XPath, SNMP
  • Experience in custom application development on ServiceNow
  • Experience with Performance Analytics and Service Portal design/customization
  • Knowledge of Domain Separation and designing process/data flows across domains
  • Knowledge of LDAP / Active Directory / SSO integrations
  • Ability to review existing setups and recommend best practices aligned with the OEM
  • Monitor ServiceNow system health, usage and compliance
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and up-to-date awareness of new platform features
  • HTML and Jelly scripting experience is a plus
Technical Skills
  • ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration)
  • CMDB modelling and integrations
  • MID Server and discovery probes/sensors
  • API/integration development and use of OOTB plugins
  • ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.)
  • Web services, transform maps, SLA configuration, inbound actions
