1. Installation and Setup

  • Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cables from distribution points to customer premises.
  • Set up and configure ONT (Optical Network Terminal), routers, and other customer equipment.
  • Ensure proper fiber splicing, connectorization, and labeling according to standards.
  • Perform drop cable installation (aerial or underground) safely and efficiently.

2. Testing and Troubleshooting

  • Conduct signal testing, power level checks, and quality assurance using optical testing tools (e.g., OTDR, light meters).
  • Diagnose and repair connectivity issues, damaged cables, or faulty equipment.
  • Verify that all installations meet performance and quality standards before activation.

3. Customer Service and Support

  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding installation procedures, service use, and equipment handling.
  • Provide basic technical support and answer customer inquiries on-site.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining professionalism and courtesy during visits.

4. Documentation and Reporting

  • Complete installation reports, checklists, and service documentation accurately.
  • Maintain records of materials used, work completed, and site conditions.
  • Report field issues, hazards, or discrepancies to the supervisor or network engineer.

5. Safety and Compliance

  • Follow all company and industry safety procedures, including PPE usage and safe ladder or pole climbing practices.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.

6. Maintenance and Upgrades

  • Assist with network maintenance, upgrades, and fiber restoration activities as needed.
  • Replace or repair outdated or damaged fiber components.
  • Support team members during large-scale network deployment projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php19, Php21,000.00 per month
