Designer Location: Inspiring PG, Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines This role involves responsibility for fiber optic and outside plant (OSP) design plans such as FTTx, FTTH, and backbone layouts within the telecommunications industry. Qualifications Experience in conducting S0P surveys and designs within the telecommunications industry, preferably with Globe FTTX project experience. Proficient in utilizing surveying and design software such as AutoCAD and Google Earth. Familiar with FTTH materials and specifications, able to prepare bills of materials (BOM) and bills of quantities (BOQ). Knowledgeable about the requirements and procedures of RTA (including both Meralco and non‑Meralco projects), capable of completing RTA forms, BOMs, and BOQs. Demonstrates strong resilience under pressure and is willing to work extended hours when required. Responsibilities Assist in preparing fiber optic and outside plant (OSP) design plans such as FTTx, FTTH, and backbone layouts. Conduct field data gathering and support site surveys for proposed telecom installations. Prepare and update design drawings using AutoCAD or other design software under supervision. Coordinate with senior engineers and project teams for project requirements and implementation. Support the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and other related documents. Assist in preparing as‑built plans and redline updates after project implementation. Ensure all design outputs follow telco standards and local regulatory guidelines (e.g., NTC, LGU). Attend technical meetings or site coordination activities as required. Organize and maintain design files, reports, and permit documentation. Perform other related engineering tasks as may be assigned by the team leader or project manager.
