Responsibilities:

  • Developing front-end and back-end of a website
  • Developing clean, well-documented back-end website applications
  • Creating web servers and databases for functionality
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimization for different devices.
  • Ensuring responsiveness of web applications
  • Working alongside graphics and web designers for web design features
  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
  • Designing and developing backend models
  • Meeting both technical requirements and tasks.
  • Staying updated of developments in web applications and programming languages
  • Work closely with our in-house UI/UX designers to ensure a smooth handover from design to development

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field
  • Proven experience as a hands-on Full Stack Web Developer or similar role
  • Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
    • Experience with the Laravel framework and Vue.JS. Knowledge of other frontend frameworks such as React.JS is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Knowledge in using versioning systems such as Git, GitHub or GitHub Desktop.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, teamwork and collaboration skills to ensure smooth workflow on projects
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work with the team with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work within an Agile development environment
