IT STaff

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:

• Provide first-line support for IT-related issues and inquiries from staff and residents.

• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems across various devices, including computers, printers, and mobile devices.

• Assist with the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.

2. System Management:

• Monitor and maintain the company's IT systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.

• Oversee server operations and backup processes to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Assist in the implementation of software updates, patches, and upgrades.

3. Network Administration:

• Manage and maintain the company's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) configurations.

• Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.

• Monitor network security and address potential vulnerabilities or threats.

4. Data Management:

• Assist in the management of databases and application systems related to property management.

• Ensure proper data backup and recovery processes are in place to protect sensitive information.

• Conduct regular audits of data systems to ensure compliance and security.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with other departments to identify and fulfill their IT needs and requirements.

• Provide training and support to staff on software applications and best practices for technology use.

• Develop user manuals and documentation for systems and procedures.

6. Project Participation:

• Assist in IT projects related to property management software, system upgrades, or new technology implementations.

• Help evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for improvements to current systems and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably within a property management or real estate environment.

• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT security principles.

• Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, along with common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, property management software).

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security systems.

• Experience with database management and basic coding skills (e.g., SQL).

• Knowledge of property management systems or related software.

Working Conditions:
