Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
Provide first-line support for IT-related issues and inquiries from staff and residents.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems across various devices, including computers, printers, and mobile devices.
Assist with the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
2. System Management:
Monitor and maintain the company's IT systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
Oversee server operations and backup processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
Assist in the implementation of software updates, patches, and upgrades.
3. Network Administration:
Manage and maintain the company's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) configurations.
Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
Monitor network security and address potential vulnerabilities or threats.
4. Data Management:
Assist in the management of databases and application systems related to property management.
Ensure proper data backup and recovery processes are in place to protect sensitive information.
Conduct regular audits of data systems to ensure compliance and security.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other departments to identify and fulfill their IT needs and requirements.
Provide training and support to staff on software applications and best practices for technology use.
Develop user manuals and documentation for systems and procedures.
6. Project Participation:
Assist in IT projects related to property management software, system upgrades, or new technology implementations.
Help evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for improvements to current systems and workflows.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably within a property management or real estate environment.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT security principles.
Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, along with common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, property management software).
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security systems.
Experience with database management and basic coding skills (e.g., SQL).
Knowledge of property management systems or related software.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with potential on-site visits to properties.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for system maintenance or support.
