A Project Coordinator is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project. The Project Coordinator works with Project Engineer to plan projects, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper coordination and submittals.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for coordination with client and suppliers/sub-contractors, with regards to documentation and other project submittals.

  2. Monitor status and progress of the project.

  3. Monitor status of concerns and queries and consolidate feedback from client/suppliers/sub-contractors.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor all assigned projects

  2. Monitor compliance in all areas

  3. Communicate effectively during daily interactions with the clients and users to interpret their needs and requirements

  4. Clearly report on project status

  5. Communicate effectively with project manager/engineer and other project participants to provide needed assistance and technical support

  6. Review engineering deliverables; coordinate appropriate corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle

JOB SPECIFICATION

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

· Graduate of Civil, Sanitary, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably licensed

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum three-year applicable or relevant work experience

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

· Exemplary work experience as a project coordinator preferably in water/wastewater project

· Significant working knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD

· Advanced MS Office skills

· Familiarity and ability to comply with all applicable rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards

· Aptitude for working collaboratively with multiple disciplines within teams and projects

· Proven success in the areas of project management and supervision

· Current certifications in applicable skills a plus

· Capability to keep deliverables on track

· Ability to consistently respond to queries from project engineers regarding document status and client concerns promptly
