Sales Associate

responsible for educating potential customers on solar energy benefits, identifying their energy needs, designing customized solar solutions, preparing proposals and quotes, and closing sales by finalizing contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively search for and contact potential residential and commercial customers to generate new sales leads.
• Sales Presentations: Deliver persuasive presentations to customers, explaining technical product information, financial benefits, potential savings, and the environmental impact of solar energy.
• Quoting & Proposal Development: Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and sales contracts, including details on pricing, warranties, financing options, and available incentives or tax credits.
• Closing Sales: Negotiate terms and finalize sales agreements to secure long-term partnerships with clients.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and post-sales follow-up.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Essential for explaining complex concepts to customers and building trust.
• Sales & Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively present products, negotiate prices, and close deals.
• Product & Industry Knowledge: Understanding of solar equipment, installation processes, energy needs, and relevant regulations, or a willingness to learn these concepts.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: To analyse customer needs and site conditions to design the best possible solar solutions.
• Organizational & Time Management: To manage leads, customer interactions, and sales processes efficiently.
