The Junior Manager plays a key role in supporting the daily operations and overall performance of the milk tea cafe. This role ensures that store standards are consistently met—from product quality and customer service to staff coordination and operations management. The Junior Manager works closely with the management team, maintains a smooth workflow, and upholds the brand's reputation across both in-store and off-site activities. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering an exceptional cafe experience.

STORE OPERATIONS

• Opening and Closing the StoreResponsible for carrying out store opening and closing procedures during business days.
• Coordinating with the Franchisor, Investors, Landlord, and Delivery Platforms
  
  Act as the key point of contact for external stakeholders, including the franchisor, investors, landlord, and third-party delivery partners such as Foodpanda and Grab. Ensures ongoing communication and coordination regarding brand alignment, reporting, tenancy matters, and operational updates related to online platforms and partnerships.

• Reporting Operational Updates to the Management TeamPrepares and submits timely reports on store performance, sales figures, staffing issues, and other operational matters to keep management informed and support decision-making.

• Performing Other Managerial Tasks as RequiredCarries out additional responsibilities as assigned by management, which may include staff training, performance evaluations, or contributing to strategic initiatives to support overall business goals.

• Overseeing Inventory and Coordinating with SuppliersManages stock levels by conducting regular inventory checks, placing and receiving orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and availability of products.
• Managing Store Cleanliness and OrganizationMaintains a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment by enforcing housekeeping standards, ensuring merchandise is properly handled by staff, and addressing any safety or hygiene concerns.

FINANCE MANAGEMENT

• Handling Cash Deposits and Ensuring All Transactions Are AccurateOversees cash handling procedures by monitoring daily sales, verifying transaction records, and preparing accurate cash deposits to maintain financial integrity and prevent discrepancies.
• Balancing Daily Sales and Maintaining Financial RecordsEnsures that all sales are properly recorded and maintains accurate financial documentation for reporting and audit purposes.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Handling Customer Concerns and Ensuring Excellent Customer ServiceAddresses customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues in a manner that upholds service quality and enhances customer satisfaction.

TEAM LEADERSHIP

• Supervising Staff and Ensuring High Service StandardsProvides guidance and direction to team members, monitors staff performance, and enforces company policies.

MARKETING & GROWTH

• Contributing to Marketing Strategy and Brand DevelopmentWorks closely with the LO (London Outsourced) and BIG (Bayan Investment Group) teams, as well as external partners, to ideate and support broader marketing strategies and brand initiatives. Acts as the on-ground lead responsible for ensuring that campaigns, branding rollouts, and marketing plans are implemented and executed at store level.

• Assisting in Store Promotions and Marketing Initiatives
  
  Implements localized efforts that support promotions, partnerships, seasonal campaigns, and community-based events. Ensures proper execution, tracks effectiveness, and provides feedback from the ground.

• Monitoring Market Trends and Customer Preferences
  
  Stays informed about customer behavior, competitor offerings, and market shifts, providing suggestions for improvement in offerings, pricing, or services.

• Attending and Managing Off-site Events
  
  Do research on potential locations/events for the store to participate in. Managing end-to-end execution, including booth setup, inventory preparation, staff scheduling, product quality control, customer service, and on-ground troubleshooting.

• Supporting Online Visibility and Delivery Sales
  
  Coordinates with delivery platforms (e.g., Foodpanda, Grab) to ensure menus are updated, promotions are live, and issues are addressed promptly. Assists in creating content or updates needed to maintain a strong digital presence.
