Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process and competency-based renal nursing practice standards. He/She is responsible for managing records, supplies, and equipment. He/She provides health education to patients and families, collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through continuous quality improvement.

Qualification:

  • Registered Nurse in the Philippines, graduate of Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
  • Clinical experience of at least 6 months in a general nursing unit.
  • Member of the Renal Nursing Associate of the Philippines (RENAP)
  • For Staff Nurse II position: completed course training, one year clinical experience.

Skills and Training:

  • RENAP or service provided training on Hemodialysis for not less than thirty days.
  • Basic and Advance Cardiac Life Support Training, within 3 months upon hiring.
  • Intravenous Therapy Training with 3 months upon hiring.
