Role Summary:

Candid Coffee is urgently rebuilding its Finance Department. We are looking for a hands-on, resourceful, and high-accountability Finance Supervisor who can take full ownership of cashflow, reporting, controls, and financial clarity across all branches.

This role is NOT a corporate "monitoring" function. This is a builder role, responsible for fixing gaps, creating systems, and ensuring the company always knows its numbers with accuracy and speed.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

  2. Own and deliver monthly P&L, balance sheet, and financial statements

  3. Build weekly dashboards for leadership (cash position, AR, AP, sales, margins)
  4. Perform variance analysis vs budget and vs prior months

  5. Create actionable insights, not just reports

  6. Cashflow & Treasury Management

  7. Daily cash position tracking

  8. Manage and monitor all bank accounts, credit lines, and loans
  9. Build a 6-month rolling cashflow forecast

  10. Strengthen and enforce branch-level cash handling SOPs

  11. Budgeting & Forecasting

  12. Lead the creation of annual and quarterly budgets

  13. Maintain operating budget and track adherence

  14. Update projections based on branch performance and expansion plans

  15. Internal Controls & Systems Building

  16. Build and enforce finance processes (AP, AR, payroll, inventory, reimbursements)

  17. Implement expense controls and approval flow
  18. Conduct random audits to prevent leakage/theft

  19. Establish documentation standards

  20. Compliance, Audit, and Coordination

  21. Coordinate with external accountants for taxes and filings

  22. Prepare documentation for lenders, investors, and auditors
  23. Ensure company-wide policy compliance

Required Candidate Profile

Skills / Experience


• 3–7 years of relevant finance experience


• Strong background in cashflow, forecasting, AP/AR, and internal controls


• Experience in F&B, retail, or fast-scaling companies preferred


• Strong Excel / Google Sheets modeling


• Bonus: CPA, audit background, or experience turning around messy books
