We are seeking a skilled 
Maximo Technical Consultant
responsible for the technical assessment, customization, and deployment of IBM Maximo solutions. This role involves performing system diagnostics, delivering technical solutions, and ensuring successful deployments across environments. The ideal candidate has solid experience with Maximo architecture and development tools along with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed technical evaluations of Maximo environments
  • Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities within the Maximo application and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Design, develop, and implement Maximo customizations
  • Configure workflows, escalations, and web services.
  • Manage deployment activities, including packaging, migration, and environment validation (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod).
  • Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and compliance with security standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide Level 2 support.
  • Document technical designs, deployment procedures, and configuration settings.
  • Participate in patching, upgrades, and system performance tuning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Maximo technical development and support.
  • Strong knowledge of Maximo architecture, Java development.
  • Experience with automation scripting (Jython, JavaScript), and database queries (SQL, DB2/Oracle).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, WebSphere/Liberty server).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8.x) is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP API integrations and security protocols.
  • Background in asset-intensive industries (e.g., utilities, oil & gas, transportation).
